It isn't getting as much advertisement as the first one was.

I would care, along with the other 90% of the nintendo fanbase.

I disagree; sure it is not as "mainstream" as Halo but for those who played the others would really be disappointed cuz these are some of the best Nintendo games to come out in a long time. MP3 looks like it could top them all!

Rofl I take it you haven't played or spoken to anyone who's played a Metroid game then(particularly Prime1 and Super Metroid).

I'd be devastatedI'd be right along with you guys.
Even if it may not be getting as much hype as some of the other Metroid Prime games I am REALLY looking forward to it.
The other 2 were awsome and being able to go through another game with the Wii controllers is gonna be exponentially more fun the on the GC.
Oh and edd678, you fail because Metroid Prime makes up an enormous part of the Nintendo market and if it were ever to be in a position where Samus was to be phased out of existance, it wouldn't go without an apocalyptic battle.
But in any case the lack of MP3 hype is probably cause they haven't put out a release date yet or that it is too early for alot of hype... I dunno... (correct me if I am wrong, i'm not sure if there is a release date or not).
Well of course not. The first one was hyped so heavily so people would know about the game, but by the third installment most people already know the games in the Metroidseries and knowhow good they are, especially the Prime games. A lot of people are already going to buy it, and other people will either overhear conversations about it, read it in a magazine, or play it at a friendshouse and then they willbuy it.It isn't getting as much advertisement as the first one was.

I don't even have to comment, you can imagine what I or most sane people would say.
MP3 = Mario Party 3? why would they hype that? :P well anyway... I don;t thing they need to hype Metroid 3 because it's hype itself. Just like Wii Sports and the Wii itself. People will buy it, people will see others who have it, they'll want it, and it'll sell....maybe...:|ZumaJones07
Yes that may be the case on here but in the real world it isn't I'm in Scotland and I don't know anyone else who has even played prime (although bizzarly there is a poster in the ladies toilet in work of Metroit for the Game Boy).
Nintendo seriously need to step it up a notch and start advertising it a lot more the only adverts I have seen is for wii sports and the Mii channel!! (why the feel the need to advertize the Mii channel is beyond me!!)
It is definitely not being hyped enough. Wii owners, and websites alike, generally regard Nintendo's 2007 Big Three as Mario Galaxy, SSBB, and Metroid Prime 3.
News and ads show that Nintendo believes their 2007 Big Three are Mario Party 8, Mario Galaxy, and Brawl, with Brawl being the biggest of the three. I think news and exposure should be a little more balanced because Metroid Prime 3 will be the most influential of the Real Big 3 because it will show other developers that FPS games and games that are more than "Pick Up and Play for 20 Minutes" games can flourish on the Wii.
Either Nintendo is going to make a huge advertising campaign in this month or they are crazy. There are like 200 preorders at the EB games near my house. I think its a problem Nintendo has had since the Gamecube. Fortunately they have been advertiseing more and more.
You can see they dont advertise enough when the maker of SSBB has to flood new info on his on the SSBB website every day. The Prime website should do the same.
Forgot to add, MP does aweful in JPN. And since NOA is just being crapped up right now, they aren't really marketing anything. Nintendo Co. LTD in JPN sure isn't going to talk about this game much at all and NOA is too busy with other problems. Goten_king
The Japanese arn't so fond of the First Person as the West is.
i dnt think metroid needs hype samus is one of nintendos stars she could never die out her face alone is hype enough lol:D
