Nintendo needs to get their online situation figured out. XBOX has their live. PS3 is coming out with HOME. Hate or love either of them, they are taking a step forward for their respective systems to make an online community available to the consumers. As we have read with the Wii as of late, Nintendo needs to get something that will catch the audience and be easy to use.

Taking away one of the defining parts of a series to make it more simple? BS. Take the time and make it work. Nintendo has to stop screwing around, because this is most likely going to be their "flagship" online game.
I feel that it might lag because most people might be using wireless (IEEE 802.11b/g) which has a lot more overhead than ethernet (IEEE 802.3), on top of that, Im not sure if it is confirmed to find a way to distinguish if you are playing an opponent from the opposite coast. I will be amazed if the game did not lag Virtual Fighter 5 (PS3) did not have online play for a reason, since every frame of action (1/60 second) matters.

i agree.. they need to take all the time they need...to make sure the wii stays in the standings and dosnt end up like cube!
