If you're new to Animal Crossing, like me, then the Wii Speak and Animal Crossing combo looks like a deal

Well, that's why I always say do some research before you purchase a game.

A good deal? It was a steal! 50 bucks for a game that can be played for years is an outrageous bargain.

I'm not saying it's the best deal(that goes to The Orange Box for PC), but the game in my eyes is plenty worth $70 for the game and Wiispeak.  I play it as if this was my first time playing, though I'm familiar with the stuff in the game.(okay, I did buy the strategy guide, so what? :P )

$50 for the stand-alone game is too much. $60 for the game and Wii Speak is good considering that Wii Speak alone is $30 and the DS game is $30.

Lol indeed. Games like Twilight Princess aren't worth the 50 bucks. You play them once, and never look at them again. Especially Twilight Princess, since that game is very hard to pick up again, or pick up at all... Animal Crossing? Well you can play that game every day and be offered something brand new. Anything under $50 for a game like this is an absolute steal.

I look at the price of video games like this:

1 dollar = 1 hour

I fell if I spend 50 dollars on a game it should give me 50 hours or more of game play/ replay value. If its 40 dollars it should give me 40 hours or more of game play/replay value.

Thats just how I look at video game prices and if I fell a $50 game should give me 50 hours or more of game play/replay value. If I fel a game can do that I get it.

I don't think that a game's length is as directly related to its value as people are saying. Nobody has a problem spending $10 for a 2 hour movie, which would be the same as spending $50 on a 10 hour game. I think a game's value comes from the experience one could get from it. There can be a 60+ hour game, but if it's boring, or just plain-bad, is it worth the money?

I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic because the Wii version is very similar to the first one for G-cube. I actually haven't played TP but depending on its length it could be worth $50.
