Since the Star Fox Adventures debacle on Gamecube, I think Star Fox has lost a lot of the luster he once had. Also since then, the games have been mediocre at best. Am I for a new Star Fox? I guess, but hes no longer a AAA, and I need to wait for a review before I would buy.Nickfury101Fox never had a AAA game on Gamespot
Yeah, but I'd like it to be more of an adventure game, rather than a shooter.LitchieUm no thats the reason why Adventures was dumped on by everyone. I could care less though

What do you mean 'everyone'? I know more people who liked the game than people who didn't to be honest. I know a lot of the old Star Fox fans were disappointed, but all they wanted was probably a graphical rehash of SF64, and luckily we got something more original.

yes i loved it too but most of the reviews Ive seen dump on it for not being a traditional SF game which is pretty stupid of them[QUOTE="DraugenCP"]Um no thats the reason why Adventures was dumped on by everyone. I think if they can get it done, Nintendo should just try and make something that pleases fans of both the traditional Star Fox and Adventures. Like, an epic adventurous game that involves a lot of shooting both on foot and in vehicles, but also a lot of exploring. That'd be perfect to me. They tried a little of that in Assault by including on-foot missions, but it still felt a bit too arcade-like, although I still love the game.
I think a starfox and or F-Zero will come out by Xmas '09. simply because Nintendo knows they can create masterpieces once Wii Motion Plus is out. :)xNJNI dont think those games could use Motion+ unless they added light sabers into Star Fox :P
um no wayDefinately, I've liked every game that has come out and I have played.
Even the gamecube ones, but I really hate Krystal, she sounds like a dude, and is really annoying.

The original star fox games were amazing.
If Nintendo can get a good version out I would be excited.
I hope they do, have a great day.

agreed, agreed and almost agreed.
She doesn't sound like a dude to me, but when she dies in multiplayer on assault, she sounds like shes having... well go play assault again and you guys will know what i mean.
And the ellipses was purposeful:P
after how bad the gamecube ones were i hope notelbert_b_23
i liked assault:?
But it seems a lot of people were disapointed by the gamecube games

Those people probably want the same game to be released over and over again with graphical enhancements. Even the people who didn't like Assault, they must credit Namco for at least trying out some new things. I agree the on-foot controls are a bit too clunky, but the idea itself is great and it adds a whole new dimension to the game, which is why it is probably my favourite Star Fox game to date.
And even if Star Fox Adventures wasn't really a Star Fox game, it was by no means a bad game. It certainly contributed to the Star Fox universe being broadened and coming even more to life, with Prince Tricky, on-foot controls (although they also featured in the Lylat Wars multiplayer), and what probably is the best portrayal of Fox McCloud to date.
