Metroid: Dread was supposed to be in production...a 2-D Metroid game for the DS that took place after Fusion. Unfortunately it got cancelled for some reason, not sure why though.
theyre could be; metroid prime 3 corruption is suppose to be the last prime game in the series. So they could go back to 2-d on the ds just dont expect it soon maybe in a year or 2? That is i they make it at all.
