i use manual and i have 8700 something points lolThe best way to play this gem of a game is with manual on & use the Wii wheel,.... it really does make what was already a classic game even better,.... online is where its at!!!! I have a PS3, BOX 360 & Wii, I'm online on all 3,... and I have never had so much fun online as I have with this game!!!

Same with me and I have 8317 points, automatic is more suited for the wii wheel and manual is more suited for the gamecube controller.

I find it easier on track like rainbow road because they have the sharp turns and if you ride a motorclyce with a medium character and use automatic you can turn through those with ease. I also have 6,300 points online and use automatic
Manual...I like to have control over the speed. Sort of like driving for real. Standard gives you a sense of control and speed. I think MOST experts use manual. Of course, exceptions exist. I barely have 6500 points, but I've yet to master the game. Still just an expert.
