I should have been a bit more clear on what I was asking...hows the quality of the sound? do many people have it yet? how do you like it thus far?
I have it. I don't like the way it fits on your ear because it's kind of loose. The sound quality is decent, basically what you hear out of the systems speakers (maybe a tad bit better). Overall, it's very convenient and well worth the money!
PS. Though my comments may come off as negative, I was just staying the downsides of it. It is a very good edition to have, especially if you play a lot of WiFi
I bought both the headset and guidebook. Both are well worth the money. About the headset, its comfy and has pretty good sound. I havent talked to anyone quite yet, but it I can't wait. One problem I had was with the underground traps and blowing into the mic to get rid of them. The headset picks up vibrations and noise, kinda like the bluetooth headsets. The actual mic part is on your cheek, so you have to pull it off your ear to blow air into the mic, or unplug it and use the DS mic. Other than that, its awesome.
I'm pretty sure i'm gonna get 1...but there's still a question i have about it... for what i hear about it...can you like talk to another DS owner that is playing online? Like..if you talk throught the mic on it...the other DS owner will be able to hear what you say from their DS? If so...I'll go buy 2 of em NOW!!!!!!

No, you have to have the headset to talk throughout the battles.
Actually, according to the D/p manual on page 51 is says "...VOICE CHAT will let you have a conversation with that player using the microphone." It doesn't say you need the headset...
