Thats not in my generation but my older cousins keep calling the game wizard (cuz i'm so damn good...lol) and say its from a movie with the power glove. Is this it?nvs22Yeah, that's the one. I must be the oldest gamer around, other than your cousin. I saw that movie in the theater when I was 10.
i remember power glove... but U-Force??c0mplexU-force came out after the power glove and looked a bit like an open laptop. It tracked your movements but it never worked or sold well.

After the movie the Wizard-with Beau Bridges, Christian Slater and Fred Savage came out I bought myself a Power Glove. The Power Glove was like getting the Advantage(a type of NES controller on a glove). I figure it's just like the wiimote if you combine it with U-force(which didn't work very well). However the Wiimote works very well.gatsbythepigI remember them both, and used to have U-Force. That was the biggest POS. It didn't even work, but for some reason, on Afterburner (NES), pressing the a button at the title screen would open the secret options menu. That's about the only game where I found some use for that thing.

By the way, I loved the arcade version of afterburner- I always did barrel rolls and hit the after burner for speed.

Did you also own the Advantage?
Was that before or after the Jaguar? Ah, the sweet sweet Jaguar. With it's polished 24 bit colors.mrphilip11The Jaguar was so far ahead of it's time. I wish it would have done better. I think the U-Force, which was for the NES, came out before the Jaguar.

Advantage? Never heard of it. The advantage was the second controller released for the NES. It had a control stick and a large 'a' and 'b' button. It also had a button that paused and started the game very quickly wich gave the game a slo-mo effect. It was a total necessity.HA! I played Rad Racer with the Advantage, those eight directions never knew what hit em. Also, you forgot the most important thing! The advantage had turbo above A AND B! It was heavensend for anyone playing Gradius (or Metroid).laser scope huh... you got me on that one. It probably did as well as U-Force and Virtual Boy.
Now here's my kicker, anyone else ever hear of the LaserScope? You put it over your head and it had a targeting beam, headphones, and a real life speaker you could give commands to! Made by Konami in '89-'90. I only heard of it cause I was completing my Silver Surfer collection when I stumbled upon the ad. Lets see more old old school gadgets on this thread.

It was only good for that one game; then collected dust for many years.
