and today i was in target and they had 2 in stock..
and i got mine in feb...
so...
sorry dude thus
I mean, how hard is it to pick up a system that was released almost a year ago? Cmon its ridiculous. I feel like the only way to buy one (aside from purchasing an overpriced one on ebay) is to hold a walmart employee hostage. I WANT A Wii!!!!Blue_Ghost12
There is still a bit of a shortage. Reserving one helps.
well, you live in a blessed place then....EVERY store around me sells out in a matter of hours after shipmentBlue_Ghost12
I know how you feel. I went to three stores today, all of them sold out...

You'd think for a big purchase that'd be the first thing you'd bring...
Where I live, every game and electronics store has a Wii and a lot of them too.Kenny789
Where do you live, Kansas with Dorthy? :p
All I did was make a list of local game stores and every day I called each asking if they had one in stock.
If they do, just drive fast.

suck for that kid.
there was a kid who was number 75 in line on launch and the store had 75 units...and some one cut infront of him (the store handled this poorly) and the kid left crying. i giggled on the inside, but i also felt bad he lost it to some guy who showed up 2mins before they handed tickets out.

i started my wii hunt dec. 26 and didnt get one till feb. 11
I agree that they must be getting easier to find. I saw five at my local Target today. It was the first time I have ever seen any Wiis sitting on a store's shelf.when i went to my local target today they had like 8 wii's
i think they are becoming easier to find

I'v ehad mine since launch, but one thing i noticed is that you have to buy one at a no name or smaller store. One that people don't expect. K-mart, Zellers, Costco, No Frills Super Store (Only the super store not the regular ones), and smaller gaming stores that are smaller than microplay.
Check those places, and i'm sure you will come across one sooner or later.
