Most DS games, even third party ones have a specific type of wrapping with that shrink-wrap or cellophane or whatever it's called, like Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.

Castlevania OoE seems to have a different type, and I just want to confirm something to settle a very important issue.

What I need is a picture of what a NEW unopened copy of OoE from Best Buy (or any store that's not GameStop) looks like. I'd appreciate if anyone could help me out!

I bought a new copy of the game today and it should come later this week or early next week. I can take a photo of that if you can wait that long. It's an european version though.

Are you worried that you might have bought a fake copy of the game or something?

I remember when I got my new OoE that it came in plain shrink wrap instead of the cellophane on most games. It bugged me too, but I preordered it from Amazon (not a third party seller) and I'm 100% certain it wasn't used or fake. My cousin's came that way, too.

I've bought DS, PSP, X360 and PS3 games from retail stores and from Amazon, all of them had different types of shrink wraps.

I notice the same thing from time to time. Usually I notice the shrink wrap on less popular titles, which is why it surprised me that Castelvania came like that.

Thanks guys. I was wondering though what the difference is between the two, and which is the one Nintendo uses and which is the one less prominent developers use?

Every new Nintendo game I've ever bought was in the cellphane wrapping. Actually, aside from Gamestop's play it and call it new cheapness, I don't remember ever getting a new DS game in the regular plastic wrap. My mom and sister, maybe. (Their taste leans more toward the 'casual games' type, despite my best efforts to lead them otherwise)
