Whether Goldeneye will come to the Virtual Console. I would instantly buy it, but I wasn't sure if it would since Microsoft now owns Rare, but they did release Donkey Kong Country. So has anyone heard anything? Or am I just getting my hopes up...

It's technically possible but very unlikely. The rights to the game are pretty much divided throughthree parties. There's the developer,Rare who is now owned by Microsoft. Then there's another 3rd Party Company (I beleive Activision) who owns the rights to the James Bond games, and then there's Nintendo who I beleives owns somerights of the actual game code (though publishing the original and such). There'd have to be a deal between all three parties before that happens. The reason why Donkey Kong was put on the VC so easily is because Nintendo bought out all the rights to Donkey Kong (sinceit was originally aNintendo created franchise)when Microsoft aquired Rare.

Actually almost positively NO. Microsoft won't just hand over the rights to Nintendo.

Ea actually owns the rights not Activision. Nintendo definately wants Golden Eye but they would have to give percentage of the sales too microsoft and EA which will definetely wantmoney since they love money
