It's all in the manual

Sync it up then you're ready to go.

The instruction manual tells you to hit the red button next to the SD card slot and the red button next to the batteries on the Wii remote.

1. Turn on your wii and let it finish booting up
2. Take off the battery cover off the new controller

3. Press the sync button on the new controller. All the blue leds will light up and blink

4. Press the sync button under the SD card slot on the wii console.

I do.

I was being ironic; I occasionally read manuals too, although I have to admit it's much more satisfactory just plugging things in when you've just bought something.

  1. Open the front flap on the wii where the SD slot is hidden
  2. You'll see a red button there, press it!
  3. Take the backing off of the wii remote that covers the batteries
  4. You'll see a red button there as well, press it!
  5. The blue lights onthe remote will flash and then only the second blue light will stay on
  6. *make sure to press the buttons close to the same time.
  7. And there you go!!!:D

also, if this person had the manual he wouldn't have asked, duh:P

The wiimote that comes with the wii is already hardware sync. Also you have to do it on the press A screen otherwise the hardware sync is only temp. The insystem sync is a temp sync that then goes away. It's meant for friends who bring their wiimotes or wiimotes you only use when company comes over.
