O.K. Mario Galaxy is close to pefect game but It doesn't seem to seem as addictive as games like paper mario.

Galaxy is nowhere near perfect. Mario 64 is.Black_Knight_00This is nostologia talking here... Those of you that wouldn't have it by playing M64 need not apply. As for the TC. I had a hard time staying focussed to in SMG. I eventually got all 242 stars but it wasn't something I was demanding of myself to accomplish. Probably because it felt like I was platforming for no other goal than to obtain stars. Thus there wasn't a story line motivator or fancy ending motivator... just completist motivation.

Mario 64 is perfect? Last time I checked the camera was horrible. Sure, it can be forgiven because it defined the genre but it's certainly not perfect. Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros 3 are way closer to perfect than Mario 64.

I think Super Mario World is probably the best platformer ever made, it has 0 flaws, it's perfect.

Mario 64 is not perfect, it's nearly perfect. Yes, the camera was a minor pain and it has its share of flaws, but the impact it had on the world pf gaming remains unmatched, and will probably remain so for many years.
