It was highly overrated, so I expected way more. The sailing around and the Temple of Ocean King was tedious. jprincess88
I totally agree.
It really just depends on the nature of many people. Can PHLoZ can be considered RPG or an Action Adventure?
Ah well, I think that PHLoZ is just not competitive enough, too easy, especially the bosses. The puzzles should be made harder - up to the Golden Sun type of level. And the game should be made much longer, I finished it really quickly. I also didn't get the 'Legend of Zelda' feel - it was more of a children-like game.
But, overall, its still nice. And, I like it. I enjoyed it. It was fun.
Was everyone expecting something incredibly new and original? If you didn't like Windwaker you weren't going to like this. I'm not sure why everyone thinks that this game was so overrated. If you've played a zelda game...ever...then you knew exactly what you were going to get when you bought this game.
Personally, I enjoyed it.
I really didnt like it. Sure you can do everything with the stylus but its just the same as every other zelda. Im sick of nintendo doing this, their first party games arent that good.anyVegetable07i aint buying it til its liek 20 $ where i live, so i cnat really judge how good it is. it doesn't look very fun.
like you expected coming back and fourth into a temple numurous times. What I don't like about many people on the forums is that if someone says they didn't like it, a lot of people will agree just because they can't make up their mind. I have never really enjoyed the zelda series very much. I can't quite say why, I just don't seem to find them very engaging or interesting.xylophagous
same here
well im a huge fan of zelda games, although the only i played was link's awakening for handhelds... and its my 2nd DS game
i'm always skepticall about zelda games, since the ocarina of time, because they are always try new things, and im not talking about the game play, items, maps, etc, im talking about style, like the change from ocarina of time to the windwaker, or the more "mature" twilight princess,
adventure games from nintendo are always easy, sometimes too easy that you cant pass through, lol, but they are always fun,
i respect nintendo in this one because, they always put us the same chemistry and feel in their franchises, but with innovative controls, graphics, etc
like the windwaker, this one with time will be aprecciated more to the skepticall like me. When Windwaker came, everyone was so "meeeh is for kids", but when Nintendo came on with the twilight princess everyone WOWW OMG, but later we all say "is too easy, is not as epical like we thought, etc"
well, that's what i have to say

I hated it, sure you can do everything with the stylus, but it was NOTHING like the previous handheld Zeldas. I hate the fact that there was no small quest around the maps, and no secrets around the map.

I wouldn't say I don't like it... but overall it wasn't blown away with it either, its was a great game..but lacks some of the things that would have mad it a AAA game.
