Of course it does. Cheating in games is the worst thing to do... its also lame, imo.

Yes it does. the only thing I've ever used was a walk through for Zelda: Ocarina of Time, because  I didn't want to miss any items.

Yes, it does if you don't complete the game on your own first. Thanks for your contribution.

It sure does, but you get a short burst of pure enjoyment from it.

of course. It ruins a game. Once u've used cheats in that game and found out that its boring and try to go back....its ery hard.

It does very much.  If you feel the NEED to cheat, do it after you beat the game legit.  That way you get the most out of your game before you cheat-ify it.

It depends on what type of cheat it is. If it is a guide to Zelda or something then yes, it does ruin the game and makes it get boring quicker. But if you are using it like in GTA to unlock a plane or something then I think it helps the game be more fun. It all depends on what the cheat is.

With the exception of a game or two (GTA), I follow the "beat it then cheat it" rule. Beat the game without any cheats, just so you know you did it. Then go through with cheats, because sometimes, it's just nice to walk into a room that gave you SO much trouble, where you died at least 30 times, have god mode and infinite ammo turned on....and destroy those fools.

i think it depends on the situation and the cheat. For example right now im playing X-man Legends on my cube im at the very final area and i accidently saved not knowing i couldnt visit the potion shop from the save point. (you usually can at saves points but not the last area) Anyway my best characters are dead and i have to go through and army of very tough sentinels. you are also not able to back track so I'm stuck in the final room and a helpless with under powered characters. So I'm going to get my friends action replay and use a money code to go in and revive my chracters. (you need to pay money to revive chracters in the team menu) anyway after i get my chracters back i should be fine and then go back to playing the game normally and beat the final boss normally. So if they're is no chance of beating the game at your current situation then i think its okay but not okay to go over board just enough of a cheat to make things back to normal and give you a chance. There are also cheats like in pokemon with the event pokemon. Now you could go over board and catch the event pokemon in the wild at lvl 3 or you could just get a cheat to get the item that they would usually give away at events then go capture the pokemon which i usually do to get all of the pokemon. In those events i consider cheating okay.

I'd agree, GTA are the only games where its fun to cheat, 45 minute killing sprees are just oh so satisfying
