the only multiplayer abiltity in ff4 is that u and a friend can battle eachother only using Rydias eidolon whyte to battle. not too great, dont buy just for this
Final Fantasy 4 is a great game though... the only Final Fantasy that had multiplayer was XI.XxShadowTongyxX
Are we excluding spin-offs (if that is what they are) ? If not then Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates would be a good purchase since the game is a lot better in co-op.

And no, it does not, but like I said above, Ring of Fates is, and it's more enjoyable if you play it on multicard play.
Edit (again): I almost forgot to mention that Ring of Fates is more of a Hack and Slash, and only has a few RPG elements.
No co-op just you are the only person that plays the game. None of the final fantasy games have that feature.project-exile
Umm...wrong, Final Fantasy Crystal series were designed with MP in mind. Final Fantasy Chronicles(PSX) had FFIV, and that version supported MP, each player would have control over certain party members. And of course, XI is all about MP, online.
