ok so i have a japanese ds which i plan to trade-in in gamestop for some in store credit, but im not sure if they accept imported ds's even though they are region free and you can change the system language to english.
Really! If its a fancy import color you could def do much better on Ebay or Craigslist. Never sell systems to Cheapstop. I really dont even advice selling games to them but you can do much better on games than systems there, still a rippoff.
Also you couldve got an answer in like 5 minutes if you called them, instead of waiting like 20 mins for someone to respond on here.
Set it so that it loads the game automatically and bypasses the menu. Have a game in and turn it on; as soon as they see it start up and see that it works, they'll probably be OK with it. Unless they're very strict and have to see the menu, too.

You're basically telling him how to dishonestly sell an item to gamestop.
I've seen used imported DS games at gamestop plenty of times so I'm sure they would take a DS either way they are going to make bank off of it. I wouldn't reccomend selling it to them.
