Does going online with Wii cost money? If so, how much?

I'm thinking about getting a Wii. Does going online to start tournaments and challenging other players cost any money?

Nope.. the wii is not a iphone or something.. its totally free as long as you have a wireless router (or the nintendo wiwfi usb thing) and an internet connection.

Its tight, the only problem is that you cant play games, or some games i.e. addicting games
