Their is a whole thread on this by Casiotech (it also is in his "Mario" thread). And no it doesn't have multiplayer.

Metroid games have(for the most part) been single player games.

Savor it's single player, its the second best on the wii (second to Princess)

Well, I LOVED the Multiplayer on Hunters... So I don't see why it is so far fetched to ask for it on th Wii. I'm not saying it was BAD that they lft it out... ot just would have made me buy it sooner if it had multiplayer =]chikinstien

Is just that i`m an old school Metroid fan.. but i miss ALL the games in teh GC. And because a few ppl r asking for multiplayer in MP3, i was just wondering if any of those had multiplayer and how it worked... In my head Metroid is a one character game :oops: :P

I'm fine with no multiplayer for MP3. Metroid Prime 2 had multiplayer. I personaly didnt like it all that much though.

Yeah actually, Metroid Prime 2 had four player split-screen multiplayer. Needless to say, it wasnt very good at all hence why I'm sure they canned it for part 3.

Yeah actually, Metroid Prime 2 had four player split-screen multiplayer. Needless to say, it wasnt very good at all hence why I'm sure they canned it for part 3.

why can something just because it was bad in the previous version? Bwii didn't have multiplayer but it does now! How about improving future versions for the better!

I agree with you OP Most games are expected to be multiplayer these days especially since wifi and broadband are so big. It's kinda pathetic to have a good game come out without multiplayer no matter how good the single player action is.

No no Casiotech, I comepletley agree with you. I was personally one who beleived that Metroid Prime 3 could have greatly benefit from an entirely improved multiplayer mode, Wi-Fi and everything (especially since the single player was too freakin short). Unfortunatley, I can remember reading that Retro strictly wanted to focus entirely on a single player experience and that they too, were dissapointed in Prime 2's multiplayer. I could be wrong.

Needless to say, Metroid Prime 3 is still an EXCELLENT game that shouldnt be overlooked, with or without multiplayer.

of course, but it's hard to recommend for $50 when there are multiplayer games coming out like SSBB (which I can spend thousands of hours playing.) It will probably be players choice next year for $20 (used) -$30 (new). Pick it up then.
