Does Nintendo enjoy the power they have?

There's nothing wrong with Zelda Spirit Tracks (I hope to get it),

but does it seem like Nintendo'sdragging Zelda Wii for as long as possible?

Formore hype? More curiosity? Just to anger us to the point of having

our attention on it until it comes out?

Or maybe they're just behind schedule? Nahh!:P

I just hope people don't build unreasonable expectations for the next zelda since that's what happened with TP and its one of the reasons people tend to tear it apart.

Until Mario Galaxy 2, Mario had 5 year development cycles. Why can't Zelda have a similar development? The longer they spend on the game, the better it will be.Rocky32189

But this is Zelda, so we're going to see unrealistic expectations. We've already seen a ton of unrealistic speculation about the game.... Ideas that might seem cool at first but just wouldn't work in practice. The Zelda team is too good at making games to satisfy everyone's expectations. They pretty much know what we're going to enjoy before we even know we'll enjoy it.

Anyway, I like DS and am planning on getting Spirit Tracks.

Relax. At least it's not in the same boat as Team Fortress 2 was. But then again, that was a special case.

If they didn't show it that's because it is not ready to be shown yet.

I hope they just spend a lot of time on it and make it awesome!

I actually want very little info for this Zelda. If they advertised it the way they did Majoras Mask back in the day with just a few in game pics and concept art to tease that would be great. But I think I ruined TP for myself when I kept up to date with it, when I stated playing it was like aI already knew what was going to happen. On topic, yes they enjopy their power (as they should), and OoT, Wind Waker, and for the greater audience TP were all better games for being developed for so long.

the reason zelda and mario big titles take long is because nintendo wants the best quality and fun in a game then those who release sequals every yr-madden any one ,

aND since they have loads of good franchises why are we wanting mario and zelda even when theres 2 mario games in development 1 metroid and 1 zelda game and wii series games lol ,

and i think pikmin 3 ,

I think that they just enjoy watching us squirm...

But they probably have a good reason (like not enough development) to not show us anything.
