The most recent mentioning of splitscreen was like a month go in an interview to like kotaku or something, they said, splitscreen, not in this version, LAN, very likely, never specifying if version meant the build of the game, or if they implied they were thinking of a sequel, hopefully the former. Granted, they also said before E3 all they are doing now is polishing and multiplayer.
Short answer: Unsure, probably not FOR NOW.
Long Answer: We will have to wait and see.
Somebody told me it had split screen and LAN play. It would be really nice to have a split screen Halo like game for the Wii though.
Even though this topic is as old as I am, The Conduit will NOT have split screen multiplayer. It is centered around Mr. Ford, not Mr. & Mrs. Ford so no it will not have split screen. The Conduit 2 however may have it but we'll all have to wait and see.

Halo 1 had two Master Chiefs running around and no one seemed to care:p
I will be seriously disappointed if it doesn't launch with Co-op, as co-op campaigns have always been one of my favorite aspects of first person shooters.

I cared about 2 master chiefs so you're wrong, Just kidding, you got me there. Anyway, prepare for the disappontment train then because there is no co-op in the Conduit. It is a great feature to have and I really wish there would be some Wii FPS with Local Multiplayer as well.
