Not really, no. There's always that SuperStar status to get on Wii Sports Resort, or the 5 stars on Lego Rock Band, or making a really nice looking piece of kit on MySims. I haven't even gotten around to finishing DSE as I want to finish that with a friend. And I routinely do the yoga things on Wii Fit.

The wii itself doesn't get boring, certain games do.

The Wii is a good system, it's just too bad that there aren't enough games out there for it---I mean, good ones. They just keep churning out Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc... Even though they made their money, I hope their next system has a better game support and not flooded with Petz, and generic Party games...

The Wii has its fair share of that too. Regardless, the lack of that's not the only reason people would not be interested in Wii games.clicketyclick

No, I don't think so. There is a notable lack of large breasts on the Wii. There's Madworld, I suppose but that's ONE game. Gratuitous blood also isn't all that common. Again, Madworld, but then what? You don't get blood sprays in The Conduit, that's for sure, and certainly not in something like SimAnimals Africa.

Yeah, if you want blood and gratuitous violence, the Wii isn't going to do it for you.

I personally haven't played my Wii for a while, but this has nothing to do with the Wii being "boring," "kiddie," a "fad," or whatever. It's just that I was saving up for a DS Lite and also getting into a Grand Theft Auto mood. However, before all that, I was still having a lot of fun with the Wii, and can see myself having fun again once I do get more games for it. So, I'd say the only way for it to get boring (for me at least, since different people have different opinions), is if you don't buy games for it, even though there are plenty out there to get.

For me, it did get old fast. Brawl and Galaxy were both good games and I found Punch Out!! is awesome. When I finished them, however, I found myself with no other games I wanted to buy. Right now, I'm enjoying the virtual console with Majora's Mask and re-experiencing Super Metroid (had it as a child). Since I'm mostly interested in downloading N64 games, even the virtual console is letting me down. I'm just crossing my fingers that the next Zelda will be awesome and give me another good reason to own the system.

I have had mine since August 2007, and there are too many great games out there, whether they are for Wii, Gamecube, or Virtual Console.

If you are bored with the Wii, then you probably like violent action games or mature content.
I still play several games on the Wii, like SSBB. I also play GC and VC games, and I have my eyes set on a few other games.
