It's the same thing that IGN does.

IGN likes the Wii and throws away all their journalistic integrity writing soft pieces for it to look good. They pump the titles they personally like and to make themselves look like they're doing their job they give harsher ratings and scores to other Wii games.

So just add them to the list of people that have no business telling people anything remotely called news.

In this case there isn't even anyone seriously supporting the review.

ign review team is great. if they would have done what you said they would have given galxy a 10. they even talked about this. they did say there was problems with galxy. they didnt go around saying GOTY the must have game.

I don't care what anyone says. Sony is morally much worse than Microsoft. This proves it. The PS3 and Sony just sink lower and lower. When will it stop? nobody knows!

Super Mario Galaxy is proof positive that Nintendo still has some of the best videogame development talent in the industry, but they no longer have the best platform on which to work. The latest platforming adventure starring the portly plumber features the most astoundingly original levels of the year, enhanced by gravity tricks never before seen in videogames. But "Galaxy" makes poor use of the Wii's motion-sensing controls and the graphics simply aren't up to par with what players can now find on the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360. While brisk sales are certain given the Wii's popularity, the "Mario" franchise may now be vulnerable to a challenger on another console better suited to 3-D running and jumping."Ben Fritz
I don't think you have to look any farther than the opening paragraph to tell the review is biased. I mean, "no longer have the best platform on which to work." Instant classic.

Holding the nunchuk, which moves Mario, and the Wii-mote, which makes him jump and spin, in separate hands, is an awkward arrangement.

HAHAHH omg that made me burst out laughing!

HOW THE **** DO YOU THINK YOU HOLD A CONTROLER!!! IN 2 SEPRIT HANDS!
