donkey kong is not going to replace mario kart.it would be crazy for nintendo not to make a new mario kart because it is extremely popular and it will surely be a great game with big sales.
i hope mario kart is released on the wii because, I can already see myself driving with yoshi using the wii remote to steer and turn. :D
Nah Cause Diddy Kong racing came on the N64 and so did Mario kart 64.EndlessPunisher
hmmm.. im pretty sure DKR was made by rare.. anyway i dont think that this game will take over MK.. especially since the game sounds like its going to suck horribly.. dont you have to drum the controller up and down for gas? sounds dumb... if it were the actual bongos that would have probably been better
this game is gonna fail as one of my multiplayer games...none of my friends enjoy shaking the nunchk/wiimote up / down frantically...they sorta liked soem of it in RRR but to do this constantly in a racing game..no just no.
and if they did this in mk..i would freak. so no, hopefully this does not replace mk. if i t does..i hope they add gc / cc controlle roptions.

Eh I always seem to forgot what games Rare made. Gets me confused when something is created by Rare, Ever since Microsoft bought rare. I forgot Nintendo makes Dk games now.If DK Jet replaces Mario Kart I will do suicide.
Also, if there is no new DK platformer for Wii, I will do suicide.
does any one knowGally66
Considering there's absolutely no evidence towards that notion, there's no logical reason Donky Kong Jet should replace the upcoming Mario Kart game for the Wii, and development and resources for both games are completely different to the point that Donkey Kong Jet is a third-party video game while any and all, past and present Mario Kart game have been, and will be first-party games, Donkey Kong Jet will in no way replace the upcoming Mario Kart game on the Wii.
believe me dk jet is way better than mario kart cause i have it (Japan) version
and i don't hate Mario kart :)

Well you must if you already deem Donkey Kong Jets to be better than a game that isn't out yet.
No, DKJ looks like crap. Mario Kart is a very fun and high selling series.MrDziekuje
Agreed and the should really just trash DKJ

Which leads to the point that the notion is completely unreasonable and assumptive. One should never limit expectations on upcoming games' qualities based on the caliber of games in the series before them.
