Seriously I think its pretty gay that Nintendo is delaying this game for so long.  I mean I know they're trying to make this the perfect game in the series and to put up a fight to some of the competitors games like Gears of War and Halo 2.

But why this long, if MP3 is this long how long do you think SSBB or SMG are going to come out?

Well anyway I don't know if you heard this news or not but they said MP3 is not going to come out until at least Q3 or even Q4.

I'm just really mad about that.

I hate to say this, but it's quite possible that MP3 won't hit till 2008. Shiggy said SMG will for sure come out this year. MP3 was only confirmed to not come out until Q3 at the earliest. Then you add in SSBB, god knows when that comes out, and you've got three smash hits they've gotta spread out.

I think that they are going to keep pushing back those 3 games until really late this year or early next year....it's sad i know, but hopefully they make those three the best games ever.

Im hopeing that they all come out in 07, but i wont be surprised about MP3. I expect SSBB to come out in the same 2 week period as Halo 3. I honestly think that Nintendo is waiting for other companies to release their big games. Thats what i think.

They pushed back TP almost a year and a half from their first announced release window, I wouldn't be suprised to see many of these games pushed back just as far.

1) Delayed games are much better than rushed games 2) A major game like that will most probably delayed until the holiday season whether it's done or not.

Yep. Good examples are Red Steel, Call of Duty 3, and Excite Truck (It could've had better multi.)

I'd expect to see one, if not two of the big three titles withing the same window as halo 3. As they're deffinetly going to cash in on the holiday rush. This is what i antisipate.
1)SSMB-Probably in late august-early september
2)SMG-late Nov-Early Dec
3)MP3-December-possibly 2008

I don't have a major problem with it, buying a PS3 and I have MP1 and 2 to play through beforehand anyway. If Nintendo make it as good as it possibly can be I'm more than happy to wait another 9 months or whatever.

I swear that SMG and SSBB were meant to come out before MP3 anyway?

Thats beside the point. Nintendo have a track record of delaying and perfecting big games. Its just something you have to get used to-for a game like MP3 I would rather they released one that they were happy with rather than rushing it and having it turn into another Red Steel.

I find that nintendo is putting aside too much games, like take BW2, i haven't heard anything from that game in a while like since last year to be exact.

its alot like zelda: twilight princess. it was supposed to come out like 4 months ago but now its delayed a whole year. It BETTER be the best ever since twilight princess was such a dissapointment

I really dont mind as long as I get one of the "big 3" this year. If we get all 3 this year.... I will crap myself. All the same, I'd rather Retro studios take their time and make this the best Prime yet.

Pshh...you guys are so critical on TP, give it a rest....

Ocarina of Time has been both a curse and a blessing to Zelda fans - they're now never pleased. I hope Nintendo doesn't listen to anyone anymore regarding Zelda, and Ninty does their own thing. I personally thought TP was the best Zelda.......but, anyway........

Metroid Prime 3 will come this year. It's been in development for 2.5 years.

I would say "It's okay, i'll just play Spore in the meantime...." but that has been pushed back to Q3 of this year as well... but you know, as long as they put out a good solid game, i could care less if it's pushed back.... kinda.... i mean, there will be other games to play in the meantime. As long as it doesn't get pushed back too far, then you are just looking as some really bad planning. My eye will start twitching if Spore is pushed back again.

Maybe because it was supposed to be a LAUNCH title?  But we should have known how bad Nintendo is with pushing games back.
