Actually, there's a legal Doom for the GBA, that plays well on the DS. Could a better version be made for the DS? Probably.
If you like FPS, try Touch the Dead, it's a great game.

Actually there's two Dooms for the GBA so there could very well be one of the DS. And if it has Wi-Fi kind of like Metroid Hunters, ohhh I just got a shiver down my spine.:P
I've got the GBA carts and they're amazing on the DS (one of the biggest reasons I traded in my GBA SP was seeing how those carts looked & played on my friend's DS). Find 'em if you can, they're kind of rare these days.
