Dr. Mario and Virus Buster

This is a Wii Ware remake of Dr. Mario. You can make your Mii appear in place of the Mario characters, and can challenge friends over Wi-Fi. The game includes the Saikin Bokumetsu game from the Japanese Brain Age 2, which can now be play cooperatively with four players.

It's being released March 25 in Japan, and looks like it'll cost 1000 points. With TBA NA and Europe dates.

I was expecting it to be 2000 not 1000 points but it is my top pick for WiiWare especially since it has online play.Nintendo_Man

You were expecting 2000 points? That's $20. I love Dr. Mario, but it's just a puzzle game.
1000 points is just right. Plus it's bundled with that other game, so that just sweetens the deal. :)

I was a bit leery describing it as a remake, but that's how IGN described it. But based on the info I read, it is basically the same game.
I'm pretty sure all they really added was the ability to add your Mii's. And of course updated the graphics and overall presentation.

Dr Mario is one of my all time favorite puzzle games. I can remember playing this in the arcade way back when...and my wife never grows old of schooling me in this game. I'm really looking forward to it and would have no problem paying $20 for it. $10 is even better. I really hope this is a WiiWare launch game in NA...
