Yeah I just saw this on system wars. It looks pretty cool. I'll definately be looking out for this one. And it's only in alpha stage meaning better things as it's developed more and more! :D

Looks fun. Like Haziq said it needs some polish in some areas but overall it's good. The effects are great.
But I'm not feeling it yet. Looks fun but there's something that is missing for me to get really hyped about the game. Not sure what. Something feels not right...
Anyway I'm still looking forward to it. Cool to see more action games on the Wii. Bosses look crazy. Plus it seems that the story will be good.
We want them to feel like they're the ones kicking ass, rather than spending too much time looking for "jars of honey", playing mini-games, or doing side quests.
From the interview, looks like D3 is the first to respond to Sega's challenge for Wii developers. They did so in spades. Dare I say.....million seller?
D3 have finally stopped making games exclusively for Japan (seriously, they have maids with katanas!) and are taking their genious to the english-speaking market. I expect good things from them now that they aren't (just) making money on Naruto games.

same here. it doesnt seem to have the quality of a GOW, but it still seems like it will turn out to be a 'Good' title[7.0+]

well the graphics should see some bigimprovementsseeing as how its in alpha. I'll be really disappointed if the graphics aren't better than gow2. the controls seem to be good and the guy working on the story is supposedly good (i haven't read the diablo books)
Man, if they get the graphics up tothe big 3scale, I bet this could be AAA
But definitly something wii needs at the moment...nice change from the "Casual" games !! Did you hear that Project HAMMER devs???

that was just a rumor. nintendo stated in May i believe that it was still slated for 2007, well i guess we'll find out soon enough with E3 just around the corner.
This seems like a good straight foward action game. At least there will be strategy when it comes down to boss fights. However, I would love for this to have some exploration and puzzle elements to it. Then again, it seems like the developer ripped at Zelda's exploration and puzzle elements--so I guess we won't be seeing little if any of that from this game. In terms of the linear aspects, it may progress like Devil May Cry. I would like to see a bump in graphics, even the original God of War was better looking graphicaly than this. If they can give us at least TP graphics that would be nice. I only ask for this because I know the Wii can do better. It's hard not to expect that from a Wii game, when you know it can do better. Fortunately, this game is in an alpha stage, so there may be some graphical upgrades. However, I can't be too optimistic of a stronger upgrade, since most games previewed months before release...do not change very much graphicaly. Not to sound like a graphics whore--I'm still looking forward to the gesture based controls of a truely hack and slash game.

it's in it's alpha stage...and that comes before beta you know. I'm sure it'll look more polished when we see it at E3, can't wait for it. I do agree that the announcer sounded cheesy lol
yep. btw this doesnt look like an early ps2 game. it looks ok as a wii game whichequals pretty good looking ps2 game. also what exactly happens from from alpha to beta to final. i know the graphics improve but what exactly improves? textures? polycount?
This is what bothers me about people. Now we know why devs never give footage to thier game till the last minute because people would jsut complain and jump on it and say it looks bad or sucks even before the game is complete.
i think the wii definately could benefit from games like this....it looks really promising right now and its got months to only get better! what else have these guys done (D3) ??
Reminds a lot of GOW. But it definitely has a ton of promise. I think the graphics need an overhaul though and a September release date doesn't sound too good. But it says on IGN that it is unreleased in the US.... does this mean that they wont be releasing it in the US? I'm a bit confused.
It looks pretty cool, and if your complaining about the graphics, remember that it's PRE-ALPHA, that means it's not even in it's first stage of development yet, that being said i'm worried since it's coming out this fall, but on the other hand it looks pretty good already and i like the style of the game.
It looks like it has a lot of potential. I don't say its worth hyping over just yet though. Not on the top of my wish list, but we'll see how it evolves over the next few months.
