well V and VI are surely remakes. However since IV was already remade on PSX, it might be a port of that version with probably some added content.

Anyway we'll see once someone translate the scans.

I love DQ. I'm probably even more excited about Dragon quest monsters: Joker though. That game looks terrific. Iwrote a blog about the Japanese version, it was sweet.

I really hope these games make it to the US. The DQ series is my favorite JRPG series. I think they have a shot if the new DQ games do really well here.

I just got the Dragon Quest for the PS2 a couple weeks ago, it is the first Dragon Quest game I have ever played, and it is one of my favorite games of all time! This sounds amazing that 3 Dragon Quest titles are coming to the DS!

Unless you all are importers and don't mind playing a text heavy rpg in Japanese, I'm not sure what all the excitement is about. Agian, I REALLY hope all of these games make it over here, as I love DQ, but until that is announced, I'm not getting my hopes up.

I agree, alot of people have never even heard of DQ. Everyone is too obsessed with Final Fantasy.

an excuse to restart these games again :),

number 4 will be amazing(even if its an existing remake),

as it impressed me,despite playing it 14 years too late or more...but meh

the games never came to europe in the first place,and number 5 isso fantastic!

so everyone should be excited for these never before released games!i knew this was bound to come...

I'm really glad for this news but you know - I haven't really ever played a Dragon Quest deep enough before so this is some awesome news. I think the Nintendo DS may reach a billion units in Japan with games like Dragon Quest. :D
