Dragon Quest: Joker

I am currently on the third Island i have Dracky lv 18, Komodo lv 9, Hawkhart lv 15, i need suggestion on what monster i should get and grow. i need good scout team and brute force.

Hm.. it has been a while since i`ve played that game.

The problem with scouting is that requires really lots of brute force. So healers or status inflicters are useless.

Any monster with the charge command is good for scouting.. like the mole monster. Use it 4x times during battle (it will say that his power is charged to 100, that its the max) to obtain lots of % in scouting.

Also if you want some strenght, there are these rare monsters that appear once in a while. On the 2nd island, you can see the skull dragon and on the third island there is the enormous sea dragon that appear rarely during the night in a pond, this is one of my favorite.

In my opinion, dragon quest monsters could had been better than pokemon, but the game was poorly made if compared to dragon warrior monsters (for gameboy).

I agree wholeheartedly. I loved Dragon Warrior Monsters for the GameBoy. I bought this game and ended up severely disapointed. I wouldn't mind seeing an updated version/port in the style of the Pokemon series. I doubt that will ever happen though.
