i just hope they give us bigger screens man im sick of nintendos handhelds having tiny screens and i just dont see how motion controll would work for a handheld maybe theyll make both screens touch screens next time and i hope they make it with multiple touch technology not just 1 touch function like the current so you could use like 2 fingers for some games like hittimg multiple targest at the same time on a game similer to elite beat agentsdraftrough
IMO I think the screes are fine, before the lighting was a problem, but they fixed that with the Lite.
I think the DS should start doing a little more things like a music player and stuff.
EDIT : They should also change the speakers, because Ouendan! isn't loud enough on my Enamel Navy DS Lite :P.
DS has much more work to do the way it is now. Take a look.julianozucaWOW. I didnt know about any of those til i read that... Awesome.
No motion control, please no motion control. This is fine on a console where you move a controller and the screen is stationary, but it would be annoying if the screen moved too.cougar65
That's exactly what I was thinking. Motion sensitive gameplay is fine on the Wii, but it doesn't seem like it would work on a handheld.
Something new without a touch screen.thisguy51dude the touch screen is the reason nintys ds rocks, why would they drop it for the next handheld
i find that a good idea would be to dump he buttons....
and make a DS-like console...with two screens covering the whole thing....
the bottom screen would be touch screen aslo, but using iphone tech, as in smudge free..etc
So for games like mario, you'll be using directional, and 2 to 3 buttons...
but for other games it can have like 6 buttons if needed.... there would be no more restrictions on button config...lol
and the buttons being touch-screened, would make the touch screen be more interesting....now that's awesome!!!!

no, try pressing two things at once on your touch screen, what happens? the cursor goes everywhere. i think an improved-graphics and generally everything DS advance, not to mention dropping friend codes once and for all.

I've seen all those before. The beat game is interesting, but the others are just... unneccesary.
Independently of howgood this games are,it demonstratesa potential. This features can be used in many ways, and the GBA slot is an inexhaustible font.
Ithink the Ds will go on for a few more years, with its sucessor annouced in 2009 and coming out in 2010.
Very much doubt we'll see a new DS in 2009. It's outselling everything in the minute. If demand for the console is half as strong as it is now in 2009, we'll probably not see a new handheld until 2012.Raiko101
not really cuz who knos wat can happen in a year.. plus wat about the ppl who already owned a DS for a couple years already... plus by 2009 the ds would have been out for wat? 4 or 5 years?? think about it. plus i think theyll make a PSP2 somewhere around 2008-09 so think about that
