Ok picture this i bought a new ds in USA. Then for summer break i go to russia to visit. Is it possible to use the same usa charger in Russia or is it not possible. If it's not possible than can you at least use a batteries on a ds?

You should find out if the outlets use the same volts as the US. We have 120v. If they have 120v then it will be fine. You can also find a transformer/converter, thats what I used for my GBASP when I lived in the Philippines.

Just go to a major chain electronics store. Europe and several countries have different plugs/voltage amps. You should be able to find a converter for about 15 bucks if memory serves. Btw it's for all electronic devices you would be taking.

I am planning to go to Russia in the summer aswell and bring my DS. All you need is a converter. I think they use the standard European outlets ( as far as I can remeber) But just a simple converter for like..5 bucks and..you are set :)

Russia use the two pin-plug (Euroeplug) that most of Europe do and they have 220-240V/50Hz.
