i don't know how many of you have seen the translated conference, but in it, they announced this cook book styled piece of software that was coming to the DS,it works by you selecting the dish, and the number of people that are eating. Then you can set it aside, and not have to touch it again, with your dirty hands. It will speek out to you, telling you then instructions, and you tell it to move onto the next one by saying ok. As i soon will be a student living on their own, i can not wait for this, one of my scares is that i will be eating take aways every night :?, this would help me so much, what do you guys think?

This is a good idea if you'd need something like this.  I don't know how much cook books are going for these days but aren't they cheaper than the typical DS 'game'?

I want this. It sounds brilliant for someone like me who would love to cook, but sadly, doesn't know how.

i know it sounds stupid, but the cook books i have at home, are all sticky, from where i have had to turn the page, and i allways make too much or too little, for me it is good, but for most people it will be a waste of money.

I do think its a good idea :) Its just it might be quite a bit more than a cook book.

Wow, that's a brilliant idea! Just one problem: won't the sound of boiling water and whatnot cover up your voice?

I've also heard that it would be possible to the software to suggest recepys based on the ingridients you have available!

:o, imagine if you order your shopping of the opera internet browser, and then it gets stored in the cook book, and you tell it what you eaten, and then it will tell you what is best to have from the ingrediants left, and also what is most healthiest, meaning that it controls your diet, making sure that it is healthy :o

won't happen though :(

A DS cook book? @ borders the cook books (depending on hard cover or soft) are still cheaper than this. I love to cook and admit it would be cool to have your DS as a quick reference but if its 30 bucks...than I say hells no.
