DS Games on the big screen with Wii U. Is it possible??

Does anyone else think it is possible? The Wii U controller is basically half of a DS minus the game slot. Do you think Nintendo will give it to us in the future?

I don't think they will... but it's true that they could. :D

that definitely insure the wiiu is a sucess, but idk why nintendo would do that, wouldnt it cut into 3ds sales.

^ exactly. If they did that, some people wouldn't buy the DS that just wanted to try out a few titles. That and DS games would need to serious upscaling to look good on a big screen.

Well I asked this because toward the end of the GBA lifespan, didn't Nintendo release the Gameboy Player for Gamecube? I was thinking they could use that same idea for the Wii U. The 3DS will kill the original DS Lifespan pretty soon to.

That would be so totally awesome if they did do that, but it's highly unlikely that it will.

They'll probably release some separate add-on thath hackers could have made for free in the first place.

Remaking DS games... for Wii U? I'd bite.

It would assure Nintendo great sales on Wii U, but destroy the 3DS probably, which isn't selling nearly as well as they would have hoped. Therefore, they will most likely keep them both separate.

It'd work for some games.. but games like The World Ends With You or Zelda Spirit Tracks just wouldn't.

Or you could hold Start when you boot it up and play on a tiny square in the middle of the screen.
