if your counting new super mario bros, you might as well count the loz phantom hourglass, metroid remakes,etc.xtrue_storyx
Metroid Hunters is a sequel, same with Legend of Zelda
(How could I forgot about Diddy Kong racing?:?)
I wouldn't mind seeing some more remakes. Especially from the N64 days.bluezy
But why?Wouldn't it be great to see Superman 64 remake?

The Phantom Hourglass is a sequal to the Windwaker. It takes place after Windwaker, therfore it is a sequal and not a remake.
And Metroid remakes? ...oh now I get it, you're being sarcastic.

same thing with new super mario bros.New Super Mario Bros isnt a remake.
Final Fantast III, Final Fantasy IV, Dragon Quest IV, Dragon Quest V, Dragon Quest VI, and I think they are remaking Fire Emblem to.

Shame on me! But why New Super mario Bros. is NEW Super Mario Bros?

Especially F-zero!
[QUOTE="omega_link2"]i hope nintendo remakes ootDarkChrisss1995
But it'll never happen:(
wait why not?!
Why do you want remakes? I'd rather play original gamesBuryMe
Well, I for one never had a N64, so I aways wanted to know what's so great about games like the 64 Zelda, or... well, right now I can only think of Zelda. Still, there are the SNES games, if they made a 15 in-one or something of SNES games, it'd at least be awesome, even more if they added Co-op online play for those games such as Knights of the Round, (which may not be the most famous but it was one of the most awesome games), or Super Bomberman, or Chrono Trigger.
I know they're remaking Kirby Superstar, and that's a start, a great start.

Zelda OoT has already been remade on the GC and it's on the Wii's VC. You could also go out and get a used 64 cheap and play the original. Besides, it wouldn't work on the DS because there aren't enought buttons...and I wouldn't want all of the controls put onto the touch screen, either.
I agree with BuryMe, we should be looking forward to new games and not just playing through remakes over and over unless there is a substantial difference between the remake and the original.

Using the word "NEW" in the title is appropriate, as this is a NEW game in the series.
I'm actually kinda glad they're aren't any remakes. I mean the only ones that I want would be those square enix ones. and
1.) Legend of Zelda Links Awakening (not gonna happen)
2.) Metroid 2 Return of Samus (maybe might sorta happen???)
3.) Pokemon Gold/Silver (most definately probably going to happen)

GAH! That game SUCKED! lol, anyway, it is true the DS lacks remakes. Is that supposed to be a bad thing? I like seeing new games just as much as revisiting classics, but we really have to move forward.[QUOTE="Grandy12"][QUOTE="BuryMe"]Why do you want remakes? I'd rather play original gamesbobtheflounder

I lack money to buy a Wii or GC.
well some of you think that theres no way that a few games wont have remakes.
well heres my opinion, you still have a chance of every game to have a remake...
i mean take this for example.
new super mario bros is a remake of the original super mario bros.that game took years for a remake.it even came out on a different type of game device.
the 1st game(the original) has been around for about 5 years now.but the new super mario bros came out only in 2007.
take that in consideration for the next time you go around talking about remixes.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------the moral is that there can be a remix after 1000 generations.

How many times do people have to say that New Super Mario Bros. is NOT a remake!? Furthermore, Super Mario Bros came out in 1985/86. It's a brand new game in the series, so it's technically Super Mario Bros. 4 (or 5/6 depending on how you view the World games), but they called it New Super Mario Bros. because it had been so long since they've made a 2D game in the series like that.well some of you think that theres no way that a few games wont have remakes.
