I've had a nintendo ds since the day it was released and i've never had a single problem. I decided to sell it and upgrade to a ds lite. The bottom screen looks unbelievable, but the top screen has serious blurring, especially in pokemon and NSMB. Also, the colors on the top screen aren't as bright as the bottom. Is this a common problem or could my system be defective. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Your system may be defective. I suggest you call Nintendo if its still under warranty. They should be able to exchange it for a new one, but if your warranty has expired, they should still be able to repair for a small fee.
Its supposed to be a little bit blurry, its an LCD afterall...take it to walmart or gamestop or something and try it side by side with the test units and see if yours is significantly worse.
Edit: I am talking about MOVEMENT blur of course. If its just blurry standing still, you have probs.
My oldschool DS was a little blury, but the lite seems hazey and dreamlike...i'll be sure to make the rounds at all the ds lite displays tomorrow, though. thanks for the idea.
