ds lite vs dsi

I'm thinking about purchasing a new Nintendo DS, but I don't know which version to get, either acool coloured DS lite or the DSi which seems to be a bit of a rip off at £149.99 which isn't much cheaper than an Xbox 360 for something tiny and has two crummy little camera's.
