Hey, I've had a ds for a while and I can never find any decent games in shops, it's all like: imagineBabies and stuff. Any suggestions of decent shops in UK or ways to get good games? I might sell my DS too... It's such a shame because the DS asa console is amazing.
@ Combo, it's not that I don't know what to buy, it's that I can't FIND the games like that. For example, I had some things to trade in at a GAME store after Christmas, and the DS games were mainly High School Musical, the imagine games, and Dora the Explorer saves the Ice Princess!
I don't know if I want to wait 5 months researching a game, waiting for it to appear on eBay, and then wait for it to be delievered from Hong Kong!

You know most games appear on ebay the same day if not before the day they release
Should I sell it? Also, if I don't, what games do you reccomend, I'm not sure after surfing around GS a bit. What about waiting for a DSi or getting a DS Lite?

The DS has plenty of games. There are 10 that I wanted to get yesterday but I only got 2 of them. I have over 20 games at my house that I still haven't really played yet. I don't know where the hell you are looking, or maybe youre to picky, but go on Amazon or Ebay, there are plenty of games to choose from. Also we don't know what games you have or what you like so how are we supposed to recommend anything to you?
Oh and BTW I hate the whole hardcore or not crap so I won't bother expounding upon that issue.
Hardcore? A game is a game. You can easily spot the good games out of the bad. You didn't mention Final Fantasy IV, Chrono Trigger, The Legend of Zelda Phantomglass, Mario Kart, The World Ends With You, Professor Layton And The Curious Village and such and such. And not to mention other great releases coming out this year! So, don't tell me the DS isn't amazing.
GAME is terrible for games in general. Over-priced, especially 2nd-hand games, and i've whitnessed many parents encouraged to buy some of the crap they stock. Check out GameStation in a couple of weeks, once the christmas rush ends and they clean up the same crap you're seeing in every other shop, as they usually stock plenty of decent titles. If nothing there, your best bet is to check the phone book and seek out the nearest indie gaming store.
Just do some research and take a chance. I recently got Sonic Chronicles:The Dark Brotherhood for the DS. It got a 6.5 here on gamespot but i LOVE it. I believe it deserved a 7.5 and 8. Like Canary7 listed, there are many great games for the ds.
