This is probably in the wrong place, I'm always getting told off for posting things in the wrong boards etc.
But anyway.
I've got an old DS I got Christmas 05 but I want to sell it and buy a lite. I went into a local games shop to ask how much I'd get for it and they said.. £12.

yeah i expected the value to have gone down a fair bit but £12?!
it's not in bad condition and i have the box and everything that came with it...

so just wondering if anyone knew how much used DSs go for at  the minute?

 thanks.

I don't know how much but that price is pretty harsh.  Have you tried CEX?  www.cex.com/co.uk They might be able to do better.  Ebay is always your best option for this kind of thing, so have a look on there and see how much DS's are going for and perhaps put yours up for auction/ ask your parents to do it if you don't have a credit card (soz if your older and this is patronising).
The other option is to give it to someone who wants a DS, who might do you a few favours in return or something.  If they work in a game store, those favours could really come in handy *cough* staff discount

The original one in second hand is sold at around €90 Euros.... but the shop make some profit here so they offer less than this to the guy selling the console naturally.... BTW this information refers to the Portuguese prices nowadays!!!!

If you want to sell your old ds and get a ds Lite, then i suggest you do what i did. tell gamestop you want to trade your ds for a ds lite and they'll give you a 60 dollar trade in value for it. you can add some games and dvds in as well to make the value go up...then getting the lite doesn't really cost much at all. that offer ends on the 27 of this month tho so hurryhurry
