DS RPG recommendations please

I tried DQ 6, but didn't like it. I already have M&L: Bowser's Inside Story and Partners In Time, and no pokemon for me. Got any recommendations?

What didn't you like about DQVI? DQIX is a pretty standard JRPG but there are some new features like monsters that roam around the field so you can choose what you fight, no more random encounters... Also try Chrono trigger and Final fantsy IV.

And if you're looking for something really unique, radiant Historia or Knigths in the Nightmare. both great.

If you consider The World Ends With You, definitely go with that!

Dragon Quest IX, it is in my rotation of games I play currently.

Throwing in my recommendations for Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest IX, Radiant Historia, Rune Factory, The World Ends With You, Ys: Books I & II.
I don't know what put you off the Dragon Quest game you played but at least give DQIX a try, it's a phenomenal game.

Suikoden: Tierkries, definitely. FF4 DS is pretty great. I'm about to start a file on Sands of Destruction, so I don't know how good (or bad) that one is yet.Avatar_Taxidous
