DS Sales compared to...

Up until this point the DS has sold about 54million units worldwide. The original gameboy (combined with gameboy color) sold something like 118 million units.

Do you think the DS will eventually take over this record set by the gameboy? After all the original gameboy was around for a lot longer BUT the DS is the FASTEST selling handheld ever...

This site puts the DS well over 65 million and the PSP just about the make 30 million. Not bad for the DS having less than a one year lead.

Wow that's a big difference! Unfortunately here in the Philippines there are very few people with DS's. Its like 1 of 10 owns a DS. Some people never even heard of the DS! I was playing with my DS once and someone approached me and asked "What's that? Is that like a PSP?"

Sorry wasen't trying the bash the PSP.

IF Nintendo can bring more games like Zelda Phantom hourglass, That are fun and look great to then It will sell. The 2008 line up looksgreat witch is a lot more than I can say for my Xbox360 and Wii.
