Yeah, new things like playing 3DS games. If you need convincing, you probably shouldn't buy one. I'd wait if I were you.
[QUOTE="magnusm1"]It still plays the old games so essentially it is with just some new things added on.It's not the same console.

You been reading The Sun newspaper? Btw I'd recommend a 3DS if you've ran out of top DS games to play (I know its BC before I get tiraded but there's no point getting one just to play nothing but DS games), but since you've had it for two years I imagine you have some more left, I'd hold out until the 3DS' library improves quite a bit.
I've got a DS lite which I've had for a couple of years now and it still has amazing battery life and everything works like new. I like the look of the 3DS but I'm not sure if it's really worth getting it. Like, if I had to get a new DS because my Lite broke even, would a DSi or XL be better for their price? Is the 3ds really worth the extra money?HuMaJuMaThat's like saying my PS2 is old, should I get a PS3 or PS2 Slim. ;)

And the Playstation 3 is essentailly a Playstation 2 but with some new things added on, right?
O.K., look, the 3DS is a new system. It has higher resolution screens, more memory, a faster processer, a significantly upgraded graphics processing unit that supports advanced shader effects, improved wireless connectivity, glasses free 3D display, and a few other features.
