DSi camera quality?

can someone upload the quality of the camera of the DSi somewhere on the internet? i want to see the quality of the picture

These are some photos i found at gameinformer about the DSi effects, the camera quality is not bad:

I thought that too, but the lens' are the same size.What you are talking about is the cover for the lens that makes that protects it and makes it easier to see. I have a DSi, the images from both camerasare the same resolution-640x480.

Yeah, GS said it was 3.0 outside too. Originally they said it was 0.3, but for whatever reason, they changed it. I originally got my info from nintendo.com, in the "Iwata Asks" section. There was some confusion as Iwata referred to the camera with lack of plurality, which could be take two ways: Iwata was only talking about one camera , or that Iwata was referring to the type of camera they used and not directlytalking about the DSi. After picking up my DSi on launch, I found the answer to be the latter.

.3 MegaPixel sure.

NOT 3 MEGAPIXELS, but 30% of 1 Pixel.

If you can imagine, it's about 1/3 of a 1 full Pixel Camera.

A 1 MegaPixel Camera would be about 3 TIMES better than the DSi's Camera.

The pics look horrible even on the small DS screen. I imagine they would be god awful on anything bigger. I think my old 8 year old camera phone took about the small quality pics.
