because, believe it or not, it's one of the wii's selling points: being a huge emulator. making your own systems fight for sales sounds really stupid.BrunoBRS
Also Nintendo has lost all interest in the wiis VC and I don't think it is making the money it did originally

you do know that their "source power" for the VC is limited, right? earthbound is not the only game with copyright issues, many companies from back then died and the IPs just disappeared (extreme G is an awesome game we'll never see because acclaim died), and let's not ignore the fact that not everybody wants to spend money releasing old games. it takes a while and costs money that could be used in new projects. it's not "nintendo's fault" if, say, konami doesn't want to release sparkster.[QUOTE="Cruse34"][QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] yeah, because releasing kirby superstar this week shows how uninterested they are.BrunoBRS

sounds to me that you're blaming them. anyway, we're getting off topic, and the reason i mentioned before IS the reason to why we don't see games like the super mario advance series anymore. It certainly could be done in theory. But I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo is holding back a handheld version of the virtual console to be a selling point for the 3DS.

I'm not gonna lie: If that is indeed what they plan on doing, (I know it's not official, just saying,) then I'm going be more than a tad bit P.O'd...
Least we got Earthworm Jim though.
