DSi : Loose D-PAD normal?

I just purchased a DSi and love it, BUT my d-pad seems loose and im not sure if this is normal or i have a faulty unit. if i tap it the slightest bit it feels all wobbly and makes an annoying loose sound.

Can anyone that has a DSi please confirm if theirs does the same, I dont know if i should return it for another or if its normal.

It's normal. The DS and Lite have MUCH looser D-Pads. You could shake them and clearly hear the D-Pad rattling around as there was more space around the DS(lite)'s D-Pad. The DSi's is a great improvement.

Totally agree--the D-Pad for the DSi makes playing games easier. You have nothing to be concerned about. :)
