DSi or 3DS

Hey guys quick question for you all. For a while now i have been thinking about upgrading from my original fat DS to a new slick DSi. I just recently read on kotaku that they will start to package the DSi with a free copy of Bowsers inside story, this seems like a perfect opertunity for me to finally make that jump for i have wanted to purchase Bowersers inside sotry for a long time now but just kept putting it off.

Yet the only thing holding me back is the 3DS. If I purchase a DSi now, do you think i will be kicking myself for when the 3DS comes out?

Should I purchase it? Or wait?

i be picking dsi up soon and how i see it is so called 3ds be late fall... and who knows how much that sucker cost. and yes bundle is on the way

Go ahead and get the DSi. Unless you live in Japan, who knows when we'll get the 3DS? Q3-2011? It could be a while. Enjoy the DS now.

Not worth it IMO. Then again, I'm pretty patient when it comes to waiting for new technology.

Nintendo's own press release leaves open the possibility that we might not see the 3DS for a year and a half. It could be as early as this fall or as late as next fall, since all they said is that it will debut sometime by March 2011....and as far as we know, that might mean it debuts in Japan next March and hits us 6 months later. I say get the DSi XL and save money toward the 3DS.

buy a dslite. That'll tied you over until the 3DS. When you get your 3DS, you'll still have a second ds for multiplayer ds games when friends are around......and also a gba.

I'd wait for a 3DS if i were you. I heard it will play DS games so that will be good. If this was the beginning of the launch i would say get one, but the 3DS is just a few months away.

IF the 3DS can play DS games i would wait it out.
