dsi sd card

Hey lads and ladies, I was curious what the limit to the size of the sd card that the dsi can handle. Or is there even a limit? i.e- will a 16 gig stick work as well as a 1 gig stick in the system?

I heard that the DSi only reads up to 9,999 blocks (As of now).

So, I guess anything above a 4 GB is usless (Correct me if I'm wrong).
