So I'm selling my DSi, and I have transfered all of my DSiware games onto an SD card and have written down my systems PIN Code, and need to know if this is all I have to do for when the DSiware transfer is ready to use in the next 3DS update (I know that there isn't much info).

That's a tough question...I would be willing to bet no, that wouldn't work. I would just wait a couple weeks and transfer it with your DSi.

We don't know exactly how the transfer will work yet, although I'm pretty sure that's not right. According to the 3DS manual you will download a program from the DSi shop which will allow the transfers to the 3DS when the update is available. So you'll have to have your DSi.

There are no details about the process yet, but knowing Nintendo I'd imagine you'll probably need to have both handhelds on, uh, hand, to complete the process.

You do need your DSi. It says in the 3DS manual that there's an app you download for the DSi for the transfer process. That's the only detail we know though. Maybe they allow access to people's club Nintendo account to re-download them though, as a backup plan. It would be nice if Nintendo would give us some info on this stuff and e-Shop.

Ah. They didn't go and require Club Nintendo registration this time around with the 3DS, did they? It seems like the most prudent way to keep track of user purchases from console to console (or handheld to handheld) and throw in some online integration while they're at it.

Oh so I did it wrong..... Well I allready sold my DSi so I guess I will just have to buy my DSi Ware games again.... Oh well, the only one I would ever play was DR. Mario. Now I just need to find a way to get these games off my SD card...

I've heard that you need to download something on the DSi that allows this, but I'M NOT SURE.
