If you dont want to fight in candyland pick ruins.-Flagg-
LOL
Well Dual strike difference is the campaign is a easier and you fight it in "candyland" Good for people new to the franchise. Days of Ruin has a more Gritty artstyle and has a harder campaign. It also has online play and fileshare for maps you make.
The units in both games are the same with DOR adding some new ones. Game play is same, the CO powers of DS game happens more & covers more area. So, I would say the CO powers affect the game more in DS. There is more battles in DS when you count all the individual ones available. The campaign in DOR is harder to get through. Since you don't have either, I would suggest buying DS, then later on as funds are available buying DOR.
i'd prefer dual strike.
also days of ruin even though their characters seem a bit more mature the dialogue is still annoying and theres still kids with wacky hairstyles
I think that days of ruin takes the cake being that the storyline is so different than the cartoony style of dual strike plus its harder and what really makes a strategy game? Diffuculty
