Ducktales Remastered WiiU Aug 13. Are you Coppin it?

DID you get it? are you getting it?

if you got it...what do you think of it?

If it ever goes on sale I might get it. I'm sure it's not a bad game, but it does seem a bit boring and the constant story interruptions seem really annoying.

I think I'll wait for a sale.

is this out of boycott? or out of fear?

if its fear...then dont worry just dont sell your console if it breaks or don't trade it back into the store....always call nintendo first and send it to them to fix it.

ah.. your a chip n dales person...i liked that one..also tale spin..i didnt like darkwing duck much..but ducktales was always my fav.

Ya I bought it. First time I can say I actually played Ducktales honestly. I mean I may have rented it before, but I just don't remember. Difficulty wise its been good so far. The levels are rather long, and you really cant make jumping mistakes so thats great. Although I did decided to play it on hard and with the harder pogo stick control. I really do hope there is an option to play the 8 bit version, but its very doubtiful. Either way, I'm fine with my purchase, just wish it was like 3$ cheaper.

After seeing the Giant Bomb quick look I'll be skipping out.Haziqonfire

all they did was make fun and crack jokes...

they weren't even excited.

The game is garbage

Anyone who suggests this game has no taste at all in games.

Broken gameplay and tired story?

Oh well there's a game everyone should rush out and buy

Exactly.  I never played the NES game but I loved Ducktales when I was a kid.  Peronally I'm really enjoying the game. It's beautiful and simple fun. It looks better than the original show and I'm enjoying the story.  It has a lot of nostalgic power for people who grew up on Ducktales.

"It's a faithful remake, but it dredges up a lot of what was wrong with the original game, and the fun lasts barely as long as it'll take you to hum the theme tune."

and

"Refreshed boss fights are a nice touch, but Remastereds confounding emphasis on its story is disruptive and annoying, even if it comes packing some great voice acting."

Had enough DDP Points that I was able to pick the game up for free.

I'm more interested in playing the nes version than the remake,

and I didn't know about the nes version until they announced this remake.

-its not a faithful remake...its like playing a totally new game...almost everything has been changed. play the game!

-the story does slow the action but id rather have it than not hands down..no question..its like watching a new ducktales cartoon never seen episode unfold  in front of your eyes!!

i couldnt figure out how to advance...

i dont remember at all man but it was very early in the game
